The ARTbody Experience

The ARTbody experience is about working with your figure and your lifestyle — then extending it into your total life and activities. Through these techniques your body becomes fit and balanced allowing you to enjoy a diverse and active life. The process will release your individual physical potential. And the secondary effects of gaining self-confidence and physical control are nearly as significant. You will notice increased vitality and activity away from the workout studio.

From the initial conversation with Angela to the individualized instruction during classes, you'll feel like you have your own personal trainer without the price tag! We will get to know you, help motivate you and take a personal interest in you, so that there is no getting lost in the shuffle!

ARTbody Sculptors have assessed your goals and health history so that you can be guided to reach your personal best. This is possible because class sizes are small (8-12 women) in comparison to what you might find in a health club setting. The small class size environment is fun and engaging! Students are connected with their instructor, with classmates and with their own bodies.

During class, your ARTbody instructor is adapting that week's workout to best fit the varying skills of the class participants. We know when to provide motivation, which encourages you to work at your optimal level. Each week in the ARTbody class, exercises change in order to prevent muscle memory. This constant variety produces quicker results with less boredom. Not only is your body challenged, but so is your mind, as you focus and concentrate on getting your body into the correct positions.

The ARTbody Technique

The ARTbody technique is not about complicated choreography such as you might find in an aerobic dance class, step class or cardio kick-boxing. You will be challenged, yet not frustrated! The exercises have been analyzed for effectiveness and safety and have been therapeutically approved. Focus and attention are paid to posture, positioning and form, which equals better results and a more balanced body! ARTbody techniques are about creating an overall symmetrical body that is strong, fit and flexible. We recommend you take two or three classes per week, giving you a solid fitness foundation. You should walk out of class physically prepared to enjoy a more active lifestyle with family and friends.

The ARTbody Woman

Graceful, agile and strong are appropriate adjectives to describe the changed awareness built from improved posture, toned muscles, balanced bodies and increased energy levels of an ARTbody woman.

The women of ARTbody are individuals who are interested in achieving their best without conforming to a stereotype of a "perfect shape, size or type" and they appreciate the differences of their fellow classmates who support them in becoming their best. An ARTbody woman enjoys the sense of community, of like-minded, but non-competitive participants. She works hard in class, but doesn’t take herself too seriously.

An ARTbody woman is a busy, intelligent woman who leads a full life. She is balancing a home with kids and/or a career, with personal interests and pursuits. She has a lot of life experience and has tried many forms of exercise over the years. She wants a fitness plan to make the most of her precious time and gives her body longevity.
