Her wide-ranging experience equipped her for her most recent role as Managing Partner in the opening of Evanston darling, Union Pizzeria. Heather's finely tuned awareness of what makes a restaurant both fun and welcoming combined with her ability to organize and plow through a diverse and jam-packed to-do list, she keeps the entire team moving forward and the customers happily coming back. Partnering once again, she gladly joins the trio bringing Hummingbird Kitchen on the scene, offering on-premises, top-of-the-line catering with a fully-equipped mobile food kitchen.

Kelly's family started a charity called Little Home Away from Home which makes dollhouses and donates them to domestic violence agencies to be used by abused children in play therapy programs. The dollhouses contain rough-hewn furniture and handmade accessories crafted from surplus materials and attic treasures. Decorated with a little whimsy and a little refinement, the houses are meant to create a safe place so when a child sits down to play, she finds comfort within the small spaces and may open her mind to larger possibilities.
